Sales Executive
SYNTALUN MARKETING (EM) SDN. BHD.
This position is responsible for developing and implementing sales-target at retail and project customer base.
The incumbent is required to lead the retail sales force of Sarawak, formulate sales strategy, develop sales forecast to achieve sales targets;
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand and monitor Syntalun’s dealers, retailers, developer, Architects, competitors and other market information.
- Maintain a close connection with dealers and retailers in respective region.
- Coordinate, develop, evaluate and audit yearly budget of retail and projects development execution in respective region.
- Develop and supervise a strategic, consistent and long-term retail and project sales network.
- Recommend, guide, develop and assess new retail and project sales network.
- Advise on problem solving methods in relation to dealers, retailers and customer complaints.
- Coordinate the sales activities in respective region in order to achieve the sales objectives.
- Provide training and guidance to the dealers to increase awareness of the importance and profitability of retail market.
- Maintain the competitiveness of the sales activities and be well-versed on the market situation and the competition.
- Presenting new products announced by national channel marketing team to engage for buy in and ensure new products are displayed in all relevant marketing channel.
- Maintain all marketing assets developed or cascaded down from national.
- Assist in trade marketing activities planning & execution including events for developers, D&A, consumers.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS:
- Reports to the director.
- Communicates with different people in the retail and projects market.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- SPM/College or degree graduated or above with business development knowledge and general marketing / sales concept.
- At least 2 years of experience in retail / projects development or Sales management preferably gained from plumbing or consumer durable manufacturing industries
- At least 2 years of experience in managing distributor and market development.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and training skills are required.
