Job Summary and Mission

This job contributes to Bestari Food Trading success by supporting the Assistant Regional Sales Manager in the development and implementation of integrated sales & marketing plans and initiatives for the company’s products.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for managing assigned distributors and maintaining profitable long term relationship and maximizing potential sales opportunities. Maintains rapport with them by conducting periodic visits, exploring specific needs, anticipating new opportunities and promotes company products to achieve sales targets.
  • Encouraging existing HORECA accounts by creating and improving proposals.
  • Researching and approaching new potential HORECA accounts and new market opportunities for the company product.
  • Ensuring that the company meets the HORECA channel revenue targets.
  • Tracking operational expenses and maintaining the assigned channel profitability.
  • Perform regular operational review meetings externally and internally
  • Monitor operational processes and ensure smooth completion and provides accurate and timely data to management to facilitate decision making.

  • Responsible for the implementation of company’s advertising, merchandising and trade promotion programs; including developing sales action plans to meet company’s targets.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Possess at least 1-2 years sales/business development in HORECA or Food Service experience.
  • SPM / Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Business/Marketing or related field;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Must possess good business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in building and maintaining relationships and contacts, in and outside the company.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel.
