Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Clinical & Technical Support
- Support cardiologists and EPs (electrophysiologists) during device implant procedures.
- Provide training and education on device programming and troubleshooting.
- Assist in follow-ups and device checks in clinics/hospitals.
- Sales & Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
- Build strong relationships with physicians, nurses, technicians, and hospital administrators.
- Execute territory sales strategies to meet/exceed sales targets.
- Inventory & Product Management
- Ensure availability of required devices in hospitals.
- Monitor inventory and handle consignment stock.
- Training & Education
- Conduct product training for clinical staff and hospital teams; stay updated on competitor products and clinical trends.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights.
- Follow all regulatory and compliance requirements, including those specific to medical devices.
- Requires practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area typically obtained through education combined with sales experience.
- Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues .
- Bachelor’s degree AND a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field.
