Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage daily retail outlet operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows in alignment with company standards and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems, including stock tracking, regular audits, and timely replenishment to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to maximize individual and team productivity.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience that fosters customer loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
  • Maintain visually appealing and well-organized product displays, ensuring accurate pricing, signage, and promotional materials to attract customers and drive sales.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of product knowledge, including Chinese herbs, groceries, wines, liquor, and spirits, to effectively educate customers and provide informed recommendations.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a retail environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices.
  • Proficiency in managing daily outlet operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, including training, scheduling, and performance management, to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of employee engagement.
  • Expertise in inventory control, encompassing stock tracking, ordering, receiving, and minimizing shrinkage, to optimize stock levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and build lasting relationships to foster customer loyalty.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin, enabling effective interaction with customers, team members, and management.
  • Experience in product display and merchandising, ensuring visually appealing and strategic placement of products to maximize sales and promote specific items.
  • Proficient in utilizing retail management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems for inventory management, sales tracking, and reporting.
  • Handling of alcoholic and non-halal products
