Responsibilities

• Design authorization concepts and implement SAP roles and authorizations for Evonik’s on-premise SAP Systems (S/4 HANA) in accordance with business, compliance and legal requirements.
• Activate and provide authorizations for new Fiori apps together with a team of functional and technical consultants. Improve UX for business users navigating the Fiori Launchpad.
• Provide authorizations for cloud-based apps running on SAP BTP
• Troubleshoot authorization errors and access problems in close collaboration with functional teams. Provide support for security-related incidents and issues.
• Ensure that SAP security practices align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain up to date documentation from technical expert to SOP documents to demonstrate compliance during internal and external audits
• Support SAP system upgrades and updates with timely authorization adjustments
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in SAP security and authorization management
• Stay up to date with latest innovations and industry trends.
  
  

Technical Skills Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP Authorization Consultant or in a similar role including demonstratable know-how working with SAP authorizations (PFCG).
• Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), user management, and authorization objects.
• Experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) is a plus
• Fiori and Fiori-Launchpad know-how
  
  

Standard Requirements

• University degree, preferably in the field IT, Business, Engineering or a comparable education.
• Ability to work within a diverse international team. Prior experience in an international setup is a plus.
• Strong analytical and learning skills, ability to understand complex situations.
• A team player, meticulous, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written in English
