Science Liaison Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Science Liaison Officer to play a critical role in supporting our Chief Scientific Officer (CSO). This position demands a unique blend of scientific knowledge, strategic insight, and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will serve as a pivotal force, amplifying the CSO's impact by streamlining operations, nurturing crucial stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the meticulous execution of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the CSO’s agenda, optimizing workload management to prioritize scientific and strategic imperatives
• Act as the primary conduit for communication between the CSO and key internal and external stakeholders, including research teams, industry partners, and academic institutions
• Analyze and synthesize literature to assist in writing reports and crafting presentation
• Address urgent issues with immediacy, allowing the CSO to concentrate on high-level scientific and strategic planning
• Managing any other tasks assigned by C-suite office

Qualification

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (Ph.D. preferred)
• Demonstrated capability in research, including the critical appraisal of scientific literature
• Experience in project management, preferably within a research or academic framework
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities, with a track record of managing stakeholder interactions effectively
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Autonomous worker with the capacity to lead and work collaboratively within diverse teams
• Proficiency in digital project management and communication tools

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years in a research or academic setting, with an emphasis on project management and stakeholder liaison
• Proven experience in distilling scientific information for diverse audiences
• Prior experience in a role requiring close collaboration with senior executives, especially in scientific or research contexts, will be viewed favorably.
