Scrub Technician

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Scrub Technicians to join our team.

This professional will be responsible for the preparation, arrangement, assisting and indicating our implants and instruments to the surgeons and medical professionals in the operation room.

The role involves indicating the right implants, specifications and instrumentations during a surgery to medical professionals and surgeons.

Our ideal candidate has a background in sales, a comprehensive understanding of the medical field, and strong communication skills. However, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Scrub Technician Responsibilities & Duties

• Preparing, arranging and sterilizing implants, instruments and equipment.
• Assisting in the selection of appropriate instruments and supplies needed for the procedure
• Maintaining a sterile field throughout the procedure
• Indicating/Handing instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
• Following infection control procedures and ensuring the instruments are clean and ready for the next surgery
• Documenting all necessary information

Scrub Technician Qualifications and Requirements

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Scrub Technician from an accredited program will be an added advantage
• Prefers 1-2 years of experience in a surgical setting, however fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Technical and On-Field Training will be provided on the knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization protocols
• Able to travel and possess own transport
