You’ll create impact by:

• Executing all aspects of accounting governance, closing, and reporting activities within the ASEAN-Pacific region.
• Being responsible for all accounting topics, including advisory to the business, closing and reporting tasks, and disclosure requirements.
• Leading monthly closing activities, preparing and reviewing journal vouchers, and supporting audit activities (internal and external).
• Acting as the manager's deputy and supporting the manager in key tasks.
• Performing financial statement reviews and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
• Managing projects for process optimization initiatives, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Serving as a Topic Matter Expert (TME) for complex accounting topics, providing training to users, and supporting ad-hoc requirements.
  
  

Your defining qualities:

• Strong Academic Foundation: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional Credentials: Possess recognized accounting certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of key accounting areas, including construction contracts, foreign exchange transactions, provisions, and accruals.
• IFRS Proficiency: Thorough knowledge and practical application of International Financial Reporting Standards.
• SAP FICO Mastery: In-depth expertise in SAP's Financial Accounting and Controlling module.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Prowess: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions independently.
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) in English, fostering strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders in an international environment.
