About the role


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our team at ASM Partners in KL, supporting our clients based in Melbourne. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing client's financial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

  • End to end processing of financial records
  • Prepare and review yearly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Payroll functions
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of tax returns
  • Assist with other office tasks as necessary and other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the team

What we're looking for

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance, professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or CIMA)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Required language(s): English and Mandarin. This role requires liaising with mandarin speaking client
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
