Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute technical assignments. Each day, you will deliver technical solutions as per agreed timeline and standards using established solutions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the development of technical expertise solutions and services.

This role is contributing to the Discrete Automation - B&R Business being based in Penang.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting customer's software and hardware issues.
• Developing, planning, and arrange training to customers for the relevant products and technologies.
• Working with regional sales team closely on daily basis for presales support such as demonstration, proof-of-concept testing, provide consultation in justifying customer's application needs.
• Visiting customers in coordination with regional sales team for application/technical clarification.
• Continuous update training from various sources and technique training provided from or at Headquarters.
• In charge of local engineering stock and providing support and technical advice to colleagues. Involving and assisting the Sales team in the application & technical solutions, quotations, coordinates and securing of sales and application supports mainly targeting target or potential customers in the region.
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Minimum Degree in Electrical/Automation/Controls Systems or equivalent.
• Incumbent is required to have 3-5 years progressive customer service. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply subject to internship experience.
• Must work well under pressure, be able to juggle many projects simultaneously and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must also have an excellent sense of priorities.
• Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.
• Knowledge and skills in Programming language - Structure text, C language, Ladder and function block would be a plus.
