Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer (L3 Support) to join our Digital Banking team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, XML, and SQL with a strong background in supporting and maintaining backend applications in a mission-critical banking environment. This role involves troubleshooting, bug fixing, performance tuning, and ensuring system stability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance banking services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide L3 support for backend services in the Digital Banking platform, ensuring system uptime, stability, and performance.

Diagnose and resolve production incidents, defects, and service disruptions while adhering to SLAs.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.

Develop and enhance backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.

Maintain and optimize Oracle database queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

Work with XML-based messaging systems for seamless integration with banking applications.

Collaborate with L1/L2 support teams, developers, and business analysts to resolve critical issues.

Participate in release and deployment activities, ensuring seamless integration into production.

Provide log analysis, monitoring, and performance tuning using Unix/Linux commands and scripting.

Ensure adherence to banking security and compliance standards in all code changes and deployments.

Technical Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

Strong experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, XML, and SQL.

Expertise in backend development, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (PL/SQL, stored procedures, query optimization).

Familiarity with Unix/Linux-based environments and scripting.

Experience working with banking or financial applications.

Good-to-Have:

Experience with Camel (CXF), Spring Batch, JavaScript, JSP, WebLogic Portal.

Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes).

Exposure to Agile methodologies and management reporting.

Understanding of security best practices in Digital Banking systems.
