Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Planning Analyst at IBM Malaysia, you will play a critical role in enabling strategic decision-making by delivering data-driven insights, developing financial models, and producing business forecasts. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and support the creation of annual plans and budgets.

You will work closely with local finance teams, the Finance Controller and CFO to drive IBM's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis.
• Analyze forecasts, budgets, actual results, and key business metrics.
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Sales and Operations to gather inputs and understand cost/revenue drivers.

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Japanese.
• Japanese proficiency level - Minimum N2 level
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
• 3 to 5 years working experience in related roles.
