Job Scope: Credit Loan Executive

Position Summary

The Credit Loan Executive is responsible for managing the loan repayment process, ensuring timely follow-up with clients, and reviewing applicants’ portfolios to assess loan eligibility and creditworthiness. The role requires a combination of customer service skills, financial analysis, and excellent communication to ensure smooth loan operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payment Follow-ups:
  • Monitor and track loan repayment schedules for all clients in the system.
  • Proactively follow up with clients who have overdue payments through phone calls, emails, and SMS.
  • Resolve payment-related issues and provide clients with clear instructions regarding payment procedures and options.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to send reminders and alerts to clients about upcoming payments or overdue balances.
  • Maintain a record of all communications with clients regarding payment status and updates.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on overdue payments and recovery status to management.
  • Work closely with lawyer to escalate overdue cases when necessary.
  • Portfolio Review and Analysis:
  • Review loan applicants’ financial portfolios, including income, assets, liabilities, and credit history.
  • Conduct risk assessments to determine the applicant's ability to repay the loan based on the analysis of their financial documents.
  • Evaluate loan requests and provide recommendations regarding loan approval or denial, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Ensure that all loan documentation is accurate and complete before submitting for approval.
  • Customer Support and Relationship Management:
  • Provide exceptional service to clients, answering queries about loan products, payment terms, and account balances.
  • Work with clients to address and resolve issues related to late payments, loan modifications, and restructuring requests.
  • Offer financial guidance and recommendations to clients on loan management and payment strategies when needed.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, company policies, and industry best practices related to loan repayment and applicant assessment.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, payment status in the system.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on payment collection efficiency, portfolio performance, and credit risk analysis.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
  • Work closely with other departments to streamline loan processes and resolve customer issues efficiently.
  • Provide feedback on loan products and processes to enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
