To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Deskside Support Lead located in Prai, Penang.

General Purpose:

Responsible for ensuring product is complete and attain customer’s requirements along with functions properly.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for the troubleshooting and administration of latest Windows Operating Systems.
• Leads the day-to-day operational support for client-based Laptops, Desktops, Storage or Network Infrastructures.
• Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or Similar Role
• Work together with IE and Facility for Production Line Setup, coordinate IT projects with relevant party.
• Manage the IT operation team with focus on end users and customers support and achieve CSI target according to the key success factors
• Manage IT hardware purchase, cost control and inventory management
• Actively involve IT Lean projects for continuous improvements
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments and well verse on mobile phone operating system such as IOS and Android
• knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, like printers, scanners etc.
• Knowledge of windows security patching and anti-virus programs
• Excellent windows OS problem-solving and multitasking skills
• To support daily technical support activities for desktop, laptop, network management and mobile phones.
• Manage the IT hardware inventory with focus on driving the overall budget
  
  

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a Related field.
• CompTIA+ or Network+ certification may be advantageous.
• A minimum of 8 year of experience as a system engineer.
• IT Project Management background.
• Incident Management and technical troubleshooting experience.
• Clear logic and good understanding of system architecture design
• Knowledge in IT security or Cyber Security Solution
• Good knowledge of networking protocols, such as TCP, IP, and OSI models.
• Strong organization skills and a high attention to detail.
• Excellent written, Verbal communication and strong sense of responsibility and excellent teamwork
