Senior Engineer Product Validation

We are looking for a motivated Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support for the Technical Marketing team, validate product value propositions, and perform benchmarking and testing of Infineon components in various power applications.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Act as technical support for Technical Marketing team in Villach to validate products value proposition in customer systems during development projects
• Measure Infineon components in motor drives, battery protection and DCDC Power Conversion Applications, DCDC Buck Converters, Brick Converters for Telecom, SMPS for Servers/Telecom and Adapters
• Perform tests of leading-edge devices on specially designed boards to support the development and optimization of new technologies
• Carry out competitor benchmarking, organize and analyze data and generate test reports
• Contribute to peer reviews of internal development documents
• Contribute to regular exchange with PL team in Villach
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree from a university / university of applied sciences in Electrical Engineering or comparable
• 1-3 years proven hands on work experience in electrical engineering laboratory environment, including using lab equipment
• Profound knowledge of semiconductors, especially Power MOSFETs preferable.
• Experience in analysis of measurement data and presentation of results for internal and external stakeholders
• Capability to work independently
• Programming skills in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab
• MS Office skills
• Ideally some experience with design, assembly, test and debugging of discrete & analog power circuit boards
• Fluent English communication skills
