Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Nursery Supervisors and service providers to undertake landscape nursery operations works – rebagging, growing and maintenance works.
- Responsible for performance and daily works productivity of downline.
- Scheduling, detailing and coordinating Nursery Supervisors work in ensuring production targets are met, growing and maintenance works meet desired quality.
- Working with Nursery Supervisors to ensure goods received are in order, well-cared for and meet documentary compliances.
- Monitoring to ensure the plants grown and nursery upkeep is of the highest possible standard.
- Pro-active in nursery repair and maintenance works – infra, mechanical and woodworks.
- Ensuring compliances in documentary requirement and work procedures.
- Ensuring timeliness in data collection and undertaking random audits.
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management
- Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Estate management or related field with minimum 5 years working experience in landscaping nursery plants production, especially trees
- Degree holders from other fields including ex-Military Officer with minimum 7 years experience in nursery or plantation operations are welcomed.
- Accreditation as an Arborist is advantageous.
- Computer literate – MsOffice capability.
- Resourceful.Access to labour supply.
- Knowledge on tree growing and nursery operations.
- People management skills – ensuring workers discipline, manage and motivate workers.
- Minimum 7 years working experience in trees nursery.
