Senior Finance Analyst

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our finance team by participating in month-end GL (general ledger) close and reporting of entity’s results. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and executing internal controls in accordance with the Haleon Internal Control Framework. You will collaborate with stakeholders and other functions (e.g., P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure a successful month-end close and provide financial reporting for designated legal entities. Additionally, you will provide guidance and on-the-job training to analyst members within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in month-end GL close and reporting of entity’s results.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and execute internal controls.
• Provide Record to Report support ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Review monthly Balance Sheet schedules & reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with BSC policies, local company legal and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other functions to ensure successful month-end close.
• Perform analytical review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to analyst members within the team.
• Support dividend payment process and related cashflow analysis/projection.
• Participate in compliance audits and respond to audit queries.
  
  
  

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in Finance/Accounting.
• CPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 5-8 years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
• Experience in commercial and shared service center in financial accounting or auditing.
• SAP experience is a must.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin – both written and spoken is mandatory.
• Attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to plan and manage workload to meet key deadlines.
