Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Assist with the annual statutory audit and prepare audit schedules.
- Oversee the Fixed Asset Register management.
- Assist in reconciling inter-company transactions and balances.
- Support the preparation of monthly management and financial reports.
- Monitor cases and projects and assist in resolving queries from the accounts executives.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to understand the company’s workflows.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and additional duties as assigned.
- Liaison with bankers, auditors, corporate secretarial and all government bodies pertaining to finance, accounts and tax matters.
- Degree/Professional certification (ACCA, CPA,ICAEW) in Accounting, Finance, or a related Field
- Min 3 - 5 years of working experience in similar position
- Experience in the hospital or insurance industry will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in XERO accounting system is a strong advantage
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Strong understanding of Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
