Senior, IT Architect

Job Description

In this role at CelcomDigi, you will drive the development of the Technology Vision, Strategy and Architecture of the organization. Lead the Digital Transformation Roadmap through cohesive Technology Strategy and Architecture. You will be the key partner to the organization’s senior management team. You must be a digital enthusiast whose constantly keeps abreast of new evolving technologies to elevate business ambitions and driving digital transformation initiative.

You are

• A multi-disciplinarian with vast experience and exposure in one or more of these primary domains – 5G, IOT, BSS Core, CRM, Billing, Middleware and Integration, Open API, Touchpoint and Channels, Data Analytics, Enterprise Support System, Distribution and Supply Chain, Partner and Revenue Assurance, Edge Computing, Data Center, and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experienced in delivering IT Innovation or IT Transformation, having an entrepreneurial spirt, a passionate technology thought leader with an eye on the latest and future technology such as A.I and Advanced Analytics, API-economy, Digital Payments and Finance, Digital Twins, Next-Gen Commerce, Quantum Computing, Web3.0, xReality, and Zero-Trust Architecture.
• The champion to develop and drive the Digital Transformation Roadmap for the organization.
• An expert in digital architecture and familiar with industry standards, IT best practices, governance and compliance, and able to translate technology to business opportunities.
• Excellent leadership skills, communication skills and good experience in stakeholder management. Able to influence and foster internal and external stakeholder communications.
• Self-driven attitude with high sense of accountability. Strong focus on delivery when presented with short timelines.
• You have the mindset to ‘take lead’ and enjoy innovation and do whatever it takes to deliver on the mandate.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Envision and craft our technology ambitions by creating forward-leaning architecture and operating models that reflects our strategies and goals.
• Develop and maintain our holistic and future-proof digital blueprint, the long-term technology strategy, target landscape and transition roadmap based on current, emerging and future technologies.
• Assess new technologies, innovation, and capabilities, determine the fit for use and business opportunities, and defining the strategy and introduction of the identified new or emerging technology into the organization.
• Explore and collaborate with Key Technology Partners to ensure the implementation of the Architecture, Roadmaps and Standards.
• Acts as a change agent to promote and drive initiatives to drive internal innovation, improve Technology process and cost efficiency and enhance business results.
• Manage regular Enterprise Architecture Forum meetings by defining the Technology Architecture Guiding Principles and Standards.
• Develop and monitor strategic KPIs established through the Technology Strategy process, to ensure collaboration and taking remedial intervention to meet on the KPIs target.
• Lead Strategic IT investment planning and process to align with technology strategy and business ambitions.
  
  

Requirements

• A tertiary level qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology or Management field.
• 10+ years of IT experience, at least 3 years in roles directly pertaining to Enterprise Architecture role in Telco industry.
• Certification in Architecture related disciplines will be an added advantage (e.g. TOGAF, Frameworx, CITA)
• Experience in architecting and designing the Telco platform, with solid background in solution designing and implementing the entire platform. Working experience with key technologies and modern architectural structures.
