Work Location: IOI City, Putrajaya
Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, Monday to Friday (5 days a week)
Main Responsibilities
Experience in the Finance, Banking, or Insurance sectors is highly desirable. Prior exposure to production support and interaction with business users is an added advantage.

Main Responsibilities
- Support business operations by configuring systems or developing new features within Java applications.
- Monitor application performance and ensure high responsiveness and reliability.
- Analyze and resolve production issues, provide root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Contribute to maintaining and improving code quality, with a focus on test automation.
- Stay updated with technology trends and propose solutions that enhance productivity and business efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for development and production support processes.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a Java Developer, with exposure to both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of development processes including testing, code quality, and system design.
- Experience in a technical leadership capacity within a project is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Java Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Proficient in Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Skilled in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiar with version control systems such as Git or RTC.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with JUnit and automated testing practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in English is required to effectively collaborate with a multinational team.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and engage with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology or a related field.
- Alternative learning paths (e.g., coding bootcamps) may also be considered.
- Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
