This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end revenue operations, including fee calculation, invoicing, revenue recognition, and monthly financial close of revenue. This position ensures compliance to the applicable internal company policies, guidelines, standard operating procedures, internal controls, audit requirements, and revenue agreements. This position delivers financial insights, analytics, and predictive scenarios to support senior management, while driving continuous improvement and automation of reporting processes. It also involves managing trade expense payments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and leading, coaching, and engaging team members to foster a positive and growth-oriented work environment.

  • Oversee revenue operations process including calculation of fees, invoicing, revenue allocation.
  • Ensure revenue is accounted for in accordance to the agreements.
  • Responsible for monthly financial close for revenue.
  • Responsible for audit of the revenue aspect for the various countries (e.g. Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, UK and US).
  • Responsible for internal audit, risk controls and any ISAE audit for revenue operations.
  • Prepare analytics, predictive scenarios and commentaries for financials in a timely manner; enhance finance data quality and accuracy.
  • Manage the trade expense payment process and ensure payments are timely and accurate.
  • Work closely with Finance Business Partner to deliver materials and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Deliver insights and analytics including benchmarking data and deep dive of financial items or processes to identify opportunities.
  • Put in place robust controls for financial reporting and processes.
  • Responsible for implementing solutions to continuously automate, improve and optimize the processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Maintain a strong and collaborative working partnership with all teams and stakeholders and support them effectively on all revenue operation and reporting matters.
  • Guide, coach and mentor team member on professional and/or personal development.


Requirements

  • Bachelor or Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Internationally recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, ICAEW, etc.) or working towards designation will be an added advantage.
  • At least 12 years of commercial working experience with minimum 5 years of managerial role and leading a Finance team.
  • Prior experience from Big 4 audit firm and /or financial services industry especially Fund Management would be preferred.
  • Experience in handling auditors, local regulators and tax authorities in various countries (e.g. Singapore, Hong Kong, Europe and US).
  • Promote workplace positivity through staff engagement and communication that encourages growth mindset.

Desired Business Knowledge/skills

  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS, accounting standards, tax laws and local regulatory requirements in various countries (e.g. Singapore, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, UK and US).
  • Excellent knowledge in revenue operations.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls, documentation standards, and compliance needs.
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Coupa and/or OneStream will be an added advantage.
