Senior Plant Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• To perform, lead and supervise plant operations, process, projects and maintenance that includes but not limited to respective staff management, inter department coordination, plant operability, efficiency and maintainability, products quality, meeting the demand of customers, safety, health and environment and cost efficiency.
• Oversee all plant upgrading and improvement projects and be the main contact point for stakeholders, field staff and contractors.
• To analyse yield and output along with necessary corrective measures and process improvement.
• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned all related Capex projects related all engineering and technical disciplines.
• Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
• Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.
• Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with project committee to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability.
• Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
• Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment and creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
• Ensuring the project's compliance with the corporate requirement, AGATE, applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
• Controlling & updating all plant drawing includes PID, PFD, layout drawings, shop floor drawings of the plant.
• To lead reliability studies on critical equipment including mechanical integrity of the Plant & Utilities.
• Identify and maintain stock for critical spare parts according to VIS (Vital, Important, Secondary) protocol.
• Planning, scheduling and executing Master time base maintenance (PM) schedule with external contractors in carrying out timely preventive maintenance programs on mechanical and environmental protection system in order to maintain the best possible working condition.
• Lead department’s risk assessment/analysis (OSH-RA, ERA, JSA & HAZOP)/ PHA follow up action and review effectiveness of control measures/mitigation.
• Participate as HSE Committee member to address issues pertaining to HSE to ensure mitigation measures are in place to prevent any incident or prevent any recurrence.
• Take reasonable care for health and safety of himself and of other persons, to cooperate with superior, to wear or use personal protective equipment provided as appropriate and to comply health and safety instruction as stipulated under Section 24 OSHA 1994.

Requirements

• Candidate must be possess at least Graduated Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical fields with strong technical background.
• At least 3-5 years of working experience in the engineering/ maintenance & project management; preferable with chemicals and manufacturing fields.
• Able to read and interprets P&ID diagrams, drawings and specifications.
• Good skills in AutoCAD or any engineering drawing.
• Knowledge in Utilities operation equipment. Conditional Preventive Maintenance & Systematic Preventive Maintenance.
• Details, specific and hands-on in approach with good analytical skills.
• High commitment on execution, aggressive, dynamic and result oriented.
• Familiar with Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994
• Experience in 5S housekeeping, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 would be an added advantage
