Senior Preventive Maintenance Engineer

Develop and maintain PM schedules based on equipment specifications and historical data. Also to ensure timely execution of PM activities with proper coordination across departments.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Regular inspections, adjustments, and servicing of equipment to ensure smooth operation and prevent potential issues. Identify the wear and tear before it causes breakdown.
• Required to prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and improvement proposals.
• Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance tasks to reduce cost, time, and equipment wear.
• Maximize communications delegations to subordinates and to properly follow up on subordinates to make sure they understand instructions given and perform as instructed.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and propose long-term solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM checklists, and history logs.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic or relevant with minimum 5 years working experience in plating industry will be an advantage.
• Understanding equipment components and maintenance requirements.
• Conducting regular equipment inspections and assessments.
