Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in NGOs or related fields, such as community organising, has worked on ethnic diversity and inclusiveness, gender and economic justice, climate change/clean energy policies or campaigns, and has philanthropy experience.
- Has experience in managing a project independently and managing a team of officers.
- Knowledge of leading organisations and funders in the field.
- Experience with campaign and strategy development.
- Experience in grant application processes., programme development, and fundraising.
- Knowledge of legal compliance is an added advantage.
- Experience in collaborating and working with rural, Orang Asli and other marginalised communities.
- Ability to travel domestically.
- Proficiency in speaking/writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin,Tamil and other languages are an added advantage.
