Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

Our client is a leading chemical manufacturer located in Negeri Sembilan. They are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team and lead the expansion of their current plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commissioning phase of the expansion project, including planning, execution, and close-out.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, construction, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the installation and testing of equipment and systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
• Manage project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and manuals.
  
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in project management.
• Proven track record of successfully commissioning large-scale industrial projects. (eg, plant expansion, upgrades or new process installations).
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management software.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
