Job Description
- Lead and manage accounts payable (PTP) processes with accuracy and timeliness during the migration to a new Shared Services Center (SSC).
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PTP, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and training for new team members.
- Drive system automation initiatives to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations throughout the transition.
- Oversee invoice processing, payment requests, and maintain accurate records during the migration phase.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries effectively, including communication in Korean or Japanese.
- Support month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and reporting in the new SSC environment.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operations post-migration
A Successful Senior PTP Specialist (Japanese Speaker) Should Have
- Proficiency in English and Japanese (min JLPT N2). Mandarin language skills will be considered an added advantage.
- 1-2 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes, preferably in SSC set up.
- Experience in project migration and supporting knowledge transfer activities is an added advantage
- End-to-end proficiency in SAP or Oracle for accounts payable operations.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese (min JLPT N2). Mandarin language skills will be considered an added advantage.
