Position Responsibilities

  • Lead QA Strategy & Process Improvement – Define and implement best practices for testing, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
  • Develop & Execute Test Plans – Design comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
  • Automation Framework Development – Build and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
  • Bug Identification & Reporting – Identify, document, and prioritize defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • API & Performance Testing – Conduct API testing with Postman or similar tools, and ensure system reliability through performance testing.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams – Work closely with developers and product managers to identify risks early in the development cycle.
  • Mentor & Guide Junior QA Engineers – Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and training sessions to uplift the QA team.
  • Ensure CI/CD Integration – Implement automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
  • Maintain Documentation & Reports – Prepare test reports, track quality metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Expertise in both manual and automated testing for mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
  • Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
  • Solid understanding of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
  • Hands-on experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar).
  • Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and working in agile teams.
  • Ability to analyze logs and debug issues using tools like Charles Proxy, Kibana, or Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior team members.
