In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the future of Emerson’s customer facing digital engineering applications. You will use your years of technical expertise and a proven understanding of the cloud native software domain to help us build industry leading digital engineering software applications

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead Software Engineer, assists Project Manager in project interfaces and resolving software technical clarification with Customers.
• Review contract documents, project specifications, evaluate project risks and ensure technical compliance to Customer’s requirements and Industry Codes and Standards.
• Responsible for the design, engineering & project execution of custody transfer flow metering Systems
• Prepare engineering documents such as Functional Design Specification, test procedures & I/O Address List, Operation manual etc.
• Responsible for development/application programming of project software for Flow Computer, Supervisory Computer, PLC etc.
• Review Engineering Documents such as System Architecture, Wiring Drawings etc.
• Review customer specifications & provide solutions to customer’s technical needs
• Coordinate with other discipline engineers/designer/project manager for efficient project execution to meet/exceed customer’s requirement, project schedule & quality standard
• Preparing purchase requisition and RFQ documents in accordance with project requirements for Software related components to build functional solutions.
• Evaluate vendor’s quotations technically to ensure specification and documentation compliance
• Provide support during panel assembly during integration
• Carry out internal testing and customer FAT.
• Assist in Site acceptance test & commissioning
• Provide technical support to pursuit team during bidding stage
• Able to work on multiple projects efficiently, prioritize the task based on project delivery schedule.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Degree/diploma or equivalent experience in Information Technology / Electronics & Electrical / Computer science / Instrumentation engineering
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in development/programming of Industrial Automation/Process Control software and advanced software tools
• Strong initiative, ability to analyze problem & excellent problem-solving skills
• Great teammate with strong communication abilities
• Willing to travel(limited) in Asia & Asia-pacific region
  
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• In depth development experience in SCADA software, such as Wonderware /Intellution iFIX/MOVICON as well other industrial automation software such as PLC ladder logic (Allan Bradly, Siemens PCS7, GE)
• Skill in network communication protocol such as TCP/IP, OPC, Modbus etc
• Experience in programming flow computer (FloBoss S600+/OMNI/FB1xxx) for custody transfer metering
• Basic knowledge of Cyber security IEC62443
• Knowledge in related standards API, AGA, ISO etc. will be preferred
