Senior Specialist Accounting

Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, procedures and best practices, maintaining accurate documentation and proper record retention.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Perform accounting and reporting services for IFMY, including book-keeping (e.g., employee reimbursements, air ticket accruals), reporting, analysis and commentary by legal entity.
• Manage plantwide fixed assets control and oversee the Concur Travel & Entertainment claim process, including validating and approving cash advance applications.
• Assist in financial month-end reporting, verifying balances to identify discrepancies or errors, resolving issues and presenting financial reporting reviews to the CFO.
• Support the direct manager and local accounting team during year-end audits and statutory reporting requirements as needed.
• Participate in regional and global accounting harmonization initiatives to improve processes and align standards.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting or Finance (higher qualifications are preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounting and Reporting.
• Proficiency in IFRS Accounting Standards and practices.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with SAP applications is an added advantage.
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team player.
