Get To Know The Role

The incumbent is critical in shaping our risk strategies by leveraging data-driven insights to enhance risk mitigation and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk modeling, statistical analysis, and financial risk assessment, with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. As a senior member of the team, you will also play a key role in mentoring junior analysts and collaborating with senior leadership to drive risk intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and risk patterns across credit, fraud, operational, and market risks.
• Develop and enhance risk models, predictive analytics, and machine learning frameworks to support proactive risk mitigation.
• Extract insights from structured and unstructured data to improve decision-making and risk assessment methodologies.
• Collaborate with risk management, business, and technology teams to define and implement key risk indicators (KRIs) and automated risk monitoring systems.
• Lead the development of advanced risk reporting frameworks, interactive dashboards, and data visualization tools to communicate risk trends effectively.
• Work closely with the data science team to improve fraud detection models, risk scoring algorithms, and early warning systems.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and quality control in risk analysis and reporting processes.
• Conduct scenario analysis, stress testing, and Monte Carlo simulations to assess potential risk exposures under different economic and operational conditions.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging risks in digital banking to ensure compliance and proactive risk management.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the risk management function.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in risk analytics, data science, or business intelligence, preferably in financial services or fintech.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other statistical tools for risk analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or related tools.
• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, financial risk metrics, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning models and predictive analytics techniques.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful risk insights for business stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to present risk insights and recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding junior team members and influencing risk strategy at an organizational level.
