Senior Staff Engineer Technical Marketing

This is your chance: to enforce our team within the Power Sensors & Systems Division, we are looking for a Senior Staff Engineer Technical Marketing.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Act as the main technical support for Technical Marketing team in Villach to create products value proposition in customer systems during development projects
• Be the local spokesman to PL management.
• Measure Infineon components as well as competitor benchmarking, in motor drives, battery management system and DCDC Power Conversion Applications, DCDC Buck Converters, Brick Converters for Telecom, SMPS for Servers/Telecom and Adapters
• Drive tests on latest cutting-edge technology devices on specially designed boards to support the development and optimization of new technologies
• Assist Technical Marketing team in writing Application notes, layout- & board design
• Provide guidance for your local peers, in technical and personal development
• Be locally responsible to organize and analyze data and generate test reports
• Contribute to peer reviews of internal development documents
• Create new application test setups (e.g. design of application test board) including test automation
• Interface with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues requiring in depth product knowledge
• Actively engages with Technical Marketing team to explore new technology, best in cost design, etc. to achieve competitive advantages.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree from a university / university of applied sciences in Electrical Engineering or comparable
• 5+ years proven hands on work experience in electrical engineering laboratory environment, including using lab equipment
• Profound knowledge of semiconductors, especially Power MOSFETs preferable.
• Experience in analysis of measurement data and presentation of results for internal and external stakeholders
• Capability to work independently and provide guidance and technical training for teammates
• Programming skills in C, C++, Visual Studio, Matlab
• PCB Design (Allegro, Altium Designer) and the ability to review existing layouts
• Profound MS Office skills
• Experienced in explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in.
• Technical driving skills, results oriented behavior and strong communication skills within global teams
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Capability to provide regular, concise project updates to team members, stakeholders, and PL management.
• Fluent English skills (main language in international team)
