As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will provide expert consulting engineering services to clients within the buildings and structures sector in Malaysia. Your role will involve undertaking structural design for major projects, ensuring that all work aligns with structural specifications. You will also be an integral member of both small and large project teams, handling technical documentation, project scheduling, cost estimates, and maintaining quality standards. This role is based in our Johor Bahru office.

This role is based in our Johor Bahru office.
The Opportunity
- Lead the design and technical input on structural projects, ensuring high-quality work is consistently delivered.
- Prepare project reports for clients, summarizing key issues and offering strategic advice on the best outcomes.
- Manage time, quality, and performance of projects, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Supervise and mentor team members, developing their technical skills and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Work with clients on business development activities, developing and maintaining successful relationships with both new and existing clients.

Is this role right for you?
- A Master's degree or advanced qualification in Civil Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, and programming skills, with hands-on experience in structural design calculations.
- Proven track record in delivering a diverse range of projects, including tall buildings and long-span structures, within a consulting environment.
- Strong design ability and in-depth knowledge of engineering principles, with a proactive and team-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and develop successful client relationships, even under pressure.
