Senior Technician (Seremban)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician to oversee the smooth and efficient functioning of a prominent shopping mall. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle technician issue team, manage a diverse range of operational tasks, and contribute to enhancing the environmental performance of the mall. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing operational policies, and managing external contractor.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Technician, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of one of Seremban's most prominent shopping malls. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you oversee the maintenance teams, ensuring all M&E systems are functioning optimally. Your commitment to safety will be evident as you ensure compliance with safety regulations through regular inspections, risk assessments, implementing safety protocols, and emergency response plans.

• Oversee maintenance and security of the shopping malls
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
• Coordinate with various departments to meet the malls’ operational needs
• Ensure all M&E systems are functioning optimally
• Schedule and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Manage and coordinate with external contractors and service providers
• Identify and implement initiatives to enhance the mall’s environmental performance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular inspections, risk assessments, implementing safety protocols and emergency response plans

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Chargeman or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in a senior operations or maintenance role within a shopping mall or commercial property
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
