Senior/Junior Logistics Specialist (Based at KL/JB, Good Pay)

Job Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Department Management

• Oversee daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to quality standards to meet company and client expectations.

2. Process Development and Improvement

• Create and refine logistics processes for transportation, warehousing, distribution, tracking, and customer service, adapting to market trends and company growth.

3. Team Building and Management

• Recruit, train, and manage a skilled logistics team, fostering teamwork and expertise in international logistics to support business growth.

4. International Freight Forwarding Management

• Manage the full international freight process, including scheduling, route planning, and rate analysis, adjusting strategies to stay cost-effective and aligned with market changes.

5. Export Procedures

• Oversee export processes like customs clearance and inspections, ensuring compliance and smooth coordination with relevant authorities.

6. Logistics Partnerships

• Develop and manage relationships with logistics partners domestically and internationally, optimizing solutions to reduce costs and risks.

7. Cost and Risk Management

• Control logistics costs and minimize risks in transportation and warehousing through analysis and strategic adjustments.

8. Cross-Cultural Communication

• Coordinate effectively with international partners using English, ensuring smooth operations and strategic alignment.

Language Requirement:
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English are required

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in international freight forwarding and export operations.
• Knowledge of export procedures and customs requirements.
• Experience in end-to-end logistics management with strong cost control skills.
• Ability to manage logistics partnerships and reduce risks.
• Basic English skills for cross-cultural communication.
