Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Key Purpose of the Role:
The Service Sales Engineer is responsible for selling and promoting our services to the pre-defined potential customers in a specific geographic area. The successful candidate builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, works collaboratively with internal teams and meets or exceeds sales targets. The candidate will successfully manage to get face-to-face time with customers to meet in-person visit objectives while also being comfortable with online meetings. Able to identify key customer stakeholders, uncover customers’ wants and needs, identify customers’ pain points / solution needed and propose our service offering to resolve customer issue and achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sell and promote our services to prospective customers in the assigned territory.
* Generate leads and cross leads.
* Build and maintain strong relationship with customers.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery excellence.
* Utilize the group tools to present service solutions to our customers in a compelling fashion.
* Organize Service Sales Seminars / Webinars at customer sites or in local office.
* Work closely with Marketing to execute yearly marketing campaign on hot segment to generate sales leads.
* Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports and update to management.
What You Need to Succeed
* 3-5 years of experience in sales role, preferably in industry sales field.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent English communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
* Strong customer service orientation and ability to build lasting relationships.
* Highly motivated, result driven and able to work independently.
* Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory (within Malaysia).
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
