Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with in-house team for all shipping issues and enquiries.
- Do ' whatever it takes' to meet or exceed our customers' expectation in compliance to OTD 95%.
- Coordinate flow & documentation of import procedures.
- Coordinate & liaise with Custom Department for exemption and Government application.
- Perform shipment audit and ensure correct use of shipping inco-terms.
- Assist & support in all shipping import/ export activities which deem necessary.
- Freight Sourcing and negotiation for import/ export destination.
- Certificate of Origin submission & ASN upload as required.
- Be aware of ISO9001 and ISO 14001 procedures and policies.
- Degree in Business Administration/Economics/Logistics Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years' relevant working experience in a MNC with high mix high volume manufacturing environment.
- Must be PC literate in spreadsheet applications, knowledgeable & experience in warehousing or logistics management will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and reporting of information/data.
- Possess logical thinking and analytical thinking skills.
- This role is 100% onsite / hybrid / remote
