SHIPPING OFFICER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist in preparing the documentation & booking shipment with forwarder, forwarding agent and courier service for shipment.
• Handling full set of export / import shipping documentations such as Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading, Form D&E, new product application etc.
• To ensure daily shipment are planned and carry out without failed.
• To assist in communicating with suppliers/customers on shipping arrangements.
• Liaises with customs, transporter & forwarding companies to arrange for logistics activities.
• Source and price comparison for quotation from every shipping agents.
• Liaises with Head Quarters and Customers on delivery matters.
• Liaise with Customs Authority on application issues.
• Filing of shipping documents and custom documents to fulfill the logistic requirement.
• Undertaking any other duties assigned by superiors or the Management from time to time.

Requirements :-

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in any fields which suitable.
• Preferably, at least one (1) year working experience, knowledge in incoterms & customs regulations would be an advantage.
• Fresh graduate from Diploma/Degree in Logistics study are welcome to apply.
• Required language(s): Mandarin, English & Malay。
• Candidates fluent in mandarin speaking is preferred as the role requires to deal with mandarin speaking clients and agents.
• Able to handle job with minimum supervision.
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
• Good personality, responsive and positive working attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess own transportation and accommodation.
• Have valid driving license.
