A global leader in commodity warehousing and logistics company is currently expanding and looking for highly qualified candidates for the Shipping Specialist position based in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design shipping solutions tailored to clients’ supply chain requirements.
  • Coordinate seamlessly between shipping lines, freight partners, and warehouses to ensure on-time cargo movement.
  • Analyze and maintain shipping line rates to optimize cost-efficiency for clients.
  • Serve as the key liaison for clients, managing inquiries and ensuring clear communication.
  • Negotiate equipment and space allocations with carriers to secure priority shipments.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance export operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Min 2 years in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations.
  • Hands-on exposure to freight processes or export-import workflows is a strong plus.
  • Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with clients, vendors, and teams.
  • Self-motivated professional who thrives both independently and in team settings to deliver timely solutions.
