Your Responsibilities
- To manage, plan, organize, staff, + direct warehouse activities at the site.
- To achieve your key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customer service + profit.
- To ensure your teams deliver against their customer, site + people KPI.
- To drive all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence by collaborating at a site level.
- To drive productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring your site meets or exceeds it’s productivity targets.
- To contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business.
- To oversee the safe operation of warehousing activities across the site, ensuring the correct skills + training are in place + are compliant with health/safety/environment legislation + standards.
- At least 3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse setting
- Leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee warehouse staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
