We're Hiring: Social Media & Video Editing Executive!

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media & Video Editing Executive to elevate our brand's online presence through captivating content. The ideal candidate will possess strong video editing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to craft engaging narratives that resonate with our audience.

Role: Social Media & Video Editing Executive

What You'll Do

• Create content that performs (not just content that looks nice) You’re responsible for creating new content angles that work — meaning you will:
• Ideate weekly content based on what converts: PR education, success stories, relatable hooks, social proof, news/policy etc
• Script in Mandarin with scroll-stopping hooks, clear structure, and strong CTAs
• Produce content using AI tools where helpful and edit in 剪映 (Jianying) with a retention-first approach
• Publish minimum 10 short videos weekly, consistently and on schedule
• Test, learn, and scale what works We want someone who builds a “content performance loop,” not someone who repeats the same style forever:
• Run weekly tests (new hooks, formats, story structures, angles, CTAs)
• Double down on winners and quickly cut what doesn’t perform
• Maintain a simple “What worked / What didn’t / What we’re testing next” cadence
• Reporting & performance improvement Reporting is how we improve quality and generate leads reliably:
• Track content performance inquiries, qualified leads)
• Submit a weekly performance snapshot (short + actionable)
• Submit a monthly report that includes:
• Best-performing content + why it worked
• Worst-performing content + what to change
• Next month’s test plan
• Recommendations to increase qualified leads
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Mandarin fluency (written + spoken) — able to write scripts that feel natural, persuasive, and clear.
• At least 2 years Proven short-form video experience creating content for a brand, performance ads, agencies, ideally on Chinese social media platform like XHS, Douyin, TikTok, Facebook etc
• Portfolio required: 5–10 short videos showing what you owned (hook/script/edit/post), plus 2–3 examples of strong hooks you wrote.
• End-to-end ownership: you can independently run the full loop — ideation → scripting → editing → posting → improvement.
• Editing proficiency: comfortable editing at speed in 剪映 (Jianying) (or equivalent) with a retention-first structure (tight pacing, strong open, clear CTA).
• Performance mindset: you test angles weekly and iterate based on results (hook, structure, CTA, retention).
• Reporting discipline: able to deliver a weekly snapshot and monthly report with insights and next tests
• Remote-ready: self-managed, reliable, deadline-driven, and communicates clearly with minimal supervision.
