About the Role

ourteam is partnering with a leading AI-driven healthcare automation provider that’s been empowering healthcare organizations for over a decade. Their platform leverages AI-powered engagement tools to streamline operations, elevate customer experiences, and tackle complex challenges across the healthcare sector. You’ll join a fully remote engineering team, collaborating directly with stakeholders and clients to continuously enhance and secure their B2B AI platform.


Key Responsibilities

  • Feature Development: Design and implement new features for the B2B AI platform, from ideation to deployment.
  • Client Engagement: Own technical implementation in client projects; collaborate with clients to understand requirements and ensure platform capabilities align with their needs.
  • Production Support: Debug and fix production issues; address security vulnerabilities identified during Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business teams to provide technical expertise and support.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and secure code; participate in regular code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
  • Agile Process: Work within a Scrum-based development process, attending sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.


Requirements

  • Locations: Malaysia (Open to Malaysians or anyone with legal work authorization in Malaysia)
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years in software development, with demonstrable experience building and maintaining web applications.
  • Backend Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Node.js for backend development.Frontend Skills: Experience with Vue.js for building responsive user interfaces.
  • TypeScript Knowledge: Solid understanding of TypeScript (type safety, interfaces, generics).
  • Database Experience: Hands-on experience with MSSQL (designing schemas, writing efficient queries, performance tuning).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills—able to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agile/Scrum: Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
  • Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently in a remote setup while managing time effectively.
  • Security Awareness: Knowledge of application security best practices and secure coding techniques.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Machine Learning Concepts: Familiarity with the basics of machine learning and how ML models integrate into production applications.
  • Voice Technology: Experience working with voice-enabled features or voice-recognition APIs.
  • Additional Languages/Frameworks: Exposure to Python and/or .NET frameworks is a plus.
