Solution Architect/Developer

About The Role

The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable IT architectures for manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics operations. This role will lead system migrations from legacy applications, develop data pipelines and analytics solutions, and manage vendor coordination to ensure successful digital transformation.

What You'll Be Doing

Solution Architecture & System Integration

• Design and implement scalable, enterprise-wide architectures for manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics operations.
• Lead system migrations from legacy monolithic applications to modern, service-oriented architectures like Odoo ERP.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise data warehouses to provide key manufacturing metrics (OEE, yield rate, on-time delivery).
• Architect and implement seamless integrations between ERP, MES, WMS, and industrial automation systems.
  
  

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Digitalization

• Act as Product Owner for MES and WMS, ensuring smooth implementation, post-deployment monitoring, and continuous improvements.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives for Manufacturing Operations Management (MoM), including APS, QMS, and TMS.
• Implement Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions to enhance real-time factory floor visibility and predictive maintenance.
• Explore AI-driven predictive analytics for demand forecasting, production optimization, and defect detection.
  
  

Project & Vendor Management

• Manage local and overseas vendors to ensure the successful delivery of digitalization projects.
• Lead cross-functional teams, including business analysts and developers, to drive IT transformation initiatives.
• Ensure alignment of IT strategies with business objectives through effective collaboration with stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 6+ years in IT architecture, digital transformation, and manufacturing integration, including 3+ years in enterprise IT design and digitalization projects.
• Expertise in ERP, MES, WMS, including customization, automation, and integration.
• Strong communicator and collaborator across business, IT, and operations.
• Experienced in leading cross-functional teams for IT projects.
• Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and drive for improvement.
  
  

Technical Skills That Are Good To Have

• Knowledge of data modeling, real-time dashboards, and key manufacturing analytics (OEE, utilization, yield, cost)
• Knowledge on RESTful APIs, middleware, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with smart factory solutions, IIoT, and AI-powered manufacturing analytics.
