Solution Design Manager - Power

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice on Vertiv Solution or Product application to SEA&NA Marketing Unit.
• Leading the engineering design and installation of Power product, particularly in Data Center environment and others related industry.
• Engage with customer as Data Center Integration Solution Expert to promote Vertiv solution value and best practice.
• Work together as a team with CTS, LTS, Product, Sales & BDM to support and engage for customer in SEA, PK, JP & KR.
• Analyze, clarify, and identify customer real requirements on data center facility requirement.
• Understand and identify the requester's requirements and assess the suitability of Data Center Solution & Product as per the required parameters.
• Plan and design the architecture of the data center integration solution and responsible for building product competitiveness solution with the team.
• Working with professional team to present solution and influence spec in to internal and external senior stakeholders.
• Work as a team on leading risk management by identifying, proposing, and implementing the resolutions to ensure strict safety and compliance standards are meet.
• Responsible to verify the solution and proposal are optimize in cost and technical offering. Need to ensure every submission meeting certain quality expectation.
• Guiding the Solution Team to consider, conduct & drive the technical innovation in every solution offer.
• Conduct comprehensive market trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential risk.
• Perform detailed competitor analysis to understand market positioning and strategic initiatives.
• Develop and implement effective pricing positioning strategies to ensure competitive advantage and profitability for Mega Project.
• Feedback to the Product Team on the product requirement and improvement based above discovery.

Requirements:

• University/College Degree or professional qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in related application & technical field. Experience with Power Distribution, Busway, Busduct, AC Cabling Work or related field.
• Understand the Data Center Standard is added advantages (uptime, BICSI, DCDC, TIA).
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Possessing a strong commitment to excellence.
• Possess good presentation skill.
• Sound knowledge of Electrical System design.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD software application.
