Specialist Accounting (Contract)

Owner of this job description is responsible Reports to legal / functional manager and ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors

In your new role you will:

• Ensure vendors invoices processing for payment are performed in accordance with company policy and agreed terms.
• Support accounts payable projects and Company's initiatives to meet business goals.
• Ensure risk & internal control designs are effectively implemented within daily accounts payable operation
• Work with Local Controller & Procurement to ensure rebates or cost recovery from vendors are accurately executed
• Striving for better productivity and efficiency via automation opportunities
• Manage and coordinate audit inquires on accounts payable raised by both internal and external auditors
• Assist tax team to prepare tax reporting related to vendors' transactions / payments
  
  

Note: 1 year contract under 3rd party payroll vendor and entitled to benefits according to vendor company

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance/ Accounting or relevant studies.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of accounts payable or general accountant
• Preferably having work experience in manufacturing or similar environment
• Advanced literacy with Microsoft Office (EXCEL) and SAP ERP would be an advantage
• Ability to use reasoning to solve problems
• Communicate effectively with accounting team and others
• Highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task
• Ability to work with domestic and international teams
