To support the overall, SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) & Security management system, and play a vital role in supporting Lead Specialist, SHE in achieving dsm-firmenich SHE objectives and maintaining compliance with applicable SHE & Security standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) & Security policies, procedures, and programs. To compose the SHE & Security plan of the site & execute the plan, in order to provide an injury-free and incident-free workplace and to prevent all work-related disabilities or health problems.
• Perform internal/external SHE & Security audits. Provide support in conducting risk assessments and safety evaluations to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Directly represent SHE & Security on site in the floor, coaching, guiding, training, and lead by example.
• Conduct safety training and orientation programs for employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols. Coach, train, and provide shop floor support to the premix site team to drive the implementation of solutions, develop and maintain their SHE & Security capabilities and leadership.
• Monitor and enforce SHE & Security regulations and standards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Ensure that the SHE & Security management system in place, maintained, improved, and evaluated regularly.
• Maintaining safety records, reports, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Collaborate with other departments and teams to promote and support the right behaviour mindset for an Injury-free working environment.
• Ensure SHE & Security compliance with all applicable laws, external and Internal regulations, and standards. To challenge, advise and support site Management & functional line on SHE & Security. Support Lead Specialist, SHE and Managers in various SHE & Security related projects and initiatives.

You bring

• Educational Background: A degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is often preferred. Relevant certifications and training in workplace safety are advantageous.
• Knowledge of SHE Regulations: Familiarity with local safety regulations, standards, and best practices is essential.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to observe and identify potential safety hazards and risks in the workplace. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa to support internal and external stakeholder.
• Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to assess safety issues, analyze data, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure safety objectives are met. Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in using standard Microsoft office software and safety management systems.
