Staff Engineer

What you will need to do:

• Cost per unit for plating processes.
• Develop and optimize plating processes to achieve high yield and product quality.
• Identify and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and defects.
• Evaluate new materials, chemicals, and equipment for plating applications.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations.
• Maintain and improve plating equipment performance to meet production requirements.
• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Collaborate with suppliers to upgrade or procure new equipment for plating.
• Lead equipment qualification and calibration activities.
• Monitor plating process outputs to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Implement statistical process control (SPC) for critical plating parameters.
• Work closely with R&D for new product introduction (NPI) involving plating processes.
• Partner with production teams to meet output targets and troubleshoot issues.
• Liaise with suppliers to address material or equipment-related problems.
• Train operators and technicians on plating equipment and processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed SOPs and work instructions for plating processes.
• Maintain accurate records of process changes and equipment maintenance.
  
  
  

What you will need:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• At least 5-10 year experience in Semiconductor.
