Storage Section Manager

1. To ensure all Malaysia warehouse/PTF activities smoothly and efficiently monitoring and controlling functions.

2. To ensure operation routines operation, eg: vessel or tanker loading/unloading, pipeline transfer in carry out safely and efficiently.

3. To ensure housekeeping work is carried out to keep Warehouse and PTF area in safe, clean conducive environment to improve productivity.

4. To perform routine inspection Warehouse and PTF area.

5. To ensure safety rules and regulations is adhered by operator.

6. Monitor vessel moment.

7. Maintain supply chain inventory and records.

8. Monitor staff attendance based on shift schedule.

9. Report monthly and yearly activity to top management.

10. Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.

11. Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly.

12. Train and guide employees.

13. Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.

14. Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)

15. Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.

16. Initiate and direct investigations to resolve shipper or customer complaints and verify their authenticity and accuracy.

17. Collaborate with staff members and fellow managers to create, modify and implement goals, procedures, policies and objectives when the opportunity presents itself.

18. To ensure operational routine activities such as vessel loading/discharging and pipeline transfers are carried out safely and efficiently manner.

19. To monitor housekeeping duties of port tank farm/terminal keep the areas in a safe, clean conducive environment to improve productivity.

20. To ensure collect, label and store wastes as per Waste Disposal Procedure.

21. To ensure record operating parameters in the field and DCS and log sheets, review, analyse and recommend action to maintain smooth, efficient and optimum operations.

22. Adopt storage operations in a safe and effective manner to achieve the quality and quantity according to the production plan as directed by the Supervisor or superior.

23. Planning shift schedule.

24. Anticipate start-up, shutdown and emergency activities with minimal supervision in accordance with established procedures and instructions.

25. Expedite routine field inspection and monitor of the assigned units (WH & MTBE corridor area) by taking appropriate action and/or reports any abnormalities observed.

26. Execute operational preparation for maintenance work and guide the Technician such as filter cleaning, line flushing, purging etc.

27. Monitors laboratory results from samples.

28. To ensure and Drumming, stuffing, slopping, unloading and loading activity in time and safe manner.

29. Monitor weigh bridge operation for incoming and outgoing truck/container smoothly and effectively.

30. To assist and guide Thailand/Vietnam staff for Commissioning and set-up storage tank at Thailand and Vietnam for UPC liquid bulk storage.

31. To support as Ship Loading Master for Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam if required.

Job requirement:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or relevant qualification.

2. At least 5 years experience in Managerial role.

3. Have experience in port tank farm operation, cargo surveyor, handling liquid cargo.
