The Position

The Opportunity:

Talent Acquisition Partners will be working across borders and be empowered and self organized. As the Strategic Talent Acquisition Partner, you are responsible for:

  • A professional & consultative position that partners with the business across the globe regarding all talent acquisition aspects including talent sourcing, selection, and hiring.
  • Works autonomously, and has the dexterity to participate or lead recruiting squads across regions or globally when necessary.
  • Able to capture the current and foresee requirements for areas of expertise (within Business area and sub-Region, or regionally)

Wear multiple hats/tags to enable workflow agility and fluidity across clusters/regions, networks Responsible for engaging and consulting with peers to upskill each other to mutual and organizational benefit

  • Utilize applicant tracking and sourcing tools such as Workday, Phenom People, and LinkedIn
  • Keep up with new recruitment trends for ongoing optimization, ultimately, to attract and hire the best talents for Roche to achieve our ambition
  • Understands different assessment methodologies and consults with the business which ones are most appropriate.
  • Facilitates the decision making process with the hiring manager and the other involved stakeholders to hire the best candidate for the role.
  • Manages the offer process with all necessary stakeholders (creates an offer proposal, obtains approvals, extends offers, and negotiates with candidate if required)

Who You Are:

  • Educational Background: A university degree or equivalent on-the-job training and experience is preferred.

  • Talent Acquisition Experience: 6-8 years of demonstrated end-to-end talent acquisition experience, with a preference for the healthcare industry. Consultative problem-solving with strong business acumen for your areas of expertise (cluster)

  • Language/Regional Expertise (Optional but a plus): Experience hiring for APAC countries. Recruitment Experience for Japan or the ability to speak Japanese will be added advantage.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in stakeholder management, including excellent communication, influencing, and partnering abilities.

  • Agile Mindset: Proactive, able to work effectively in a matrix environment, and flexible in supporting various functions and capabilities as needed.
