Get to Know The Team

• The Strategy & Projects (S&P) team works with stakeholders across all business functions in Grab to drive continuous improvements and roll out special projects which would contribute to overall growth of the business.
• The team is responsible to generate business insights, propose data-driven strategic initiatives and lead large cross-functional projects across all of the services that we offer in Grab, with main focus areas in Mobility and Deliveries.
  
  

Get To Know The Role

• We are looking for you to develop an understanding of the Mobility business (GrabCar) across multiple areas including product, operations, financials and marketplace management.
• You will work with your Manager, and other senior leaders in the Mobility teams, to generate, plan and execute growth initiatives and special projects within the Mobility business.
• You will report into the Head of Mobility Strategy, Operations (Outer Cities) and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.
  
  

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will lead end-to-end projects involving cross-functional teams.
• You will work with data to draw business insights to propose solutions, including solving for supply and demand issues and growth opportunities.
• You will break down complex questions into simpler pieces and present information in an easily digestible manner with data-driven insights and solutions. This includes presentations to senior leaders within the Grab organization.
• You will monitor key metrics and targets to optimize for growth of the services.
• You will design experiments (and own the end-to-end experimentation process) to validate key hypotheses.
• You will bridge and lead conversations between multiple teams to shape strategies and decisions to grow the business. Your inputs and insights will shape the product pipelines and help define the look and feel of new products and services.
  
  

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have at least 4 years of working experience in a related field and must be comfortable analyzing complex datasets to draw insights.
• SQL proficiency and is needed for the role.
• You will manage projects involving multiple teams, ensuring that all milestones are met.
• You can break down complex problems into actionable solutions based on data insights.
• You will seek to understand the marketplace economics and impactful opportunities.
