Supervisor, Linen & Laundry Services (Penang)

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Support Linen and Laundry Services operation (Soiled linen collection, Clean linen issue, furnishing collection, Reject & Condemn linen, adequate tools, housekeeping linen store and sufficient linen stock) to follow schedules and requirement as per Technical Requirement Key Performance Indicator (TRKPI), Master Agreed Procedure (MAP), Project Operation Guidelines (POG), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Hospital Specific Implementation Plan (HSIP).
• Demonstrate people management by ensuring staffs are qualified in performing their duties (Identify key area of improvement – Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Technical Requirement Key Performance Indicator (TRKPI), Master Agreed Procedure (MAP), Project Operating Guidelines (POG) as per requirement in CA .
• Utilize and check accuracy of data (SOP and MoH forms ) and timely data entry for LLS in ASIS (Asset and Services Information System).
• Ensure safety practices and procedures at workplace in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
• Ensure enough linen stocks available at central clean linen store & user linen store with proper linen inventory count, new linen purchase and frequent visit & inspection at laundry Plant as per agreed in Hospital Specific Implementation Plan (HSIP).
• Maintain good rapport with internal and external customer (attend to all inquiries and complaint from the hospital authorities and communicate and resolve any LLS issues).
• Monitor & inspect the quality standard of new line delivery , linen mending , and linen finishing item (curtain ,screen cushion over ,ext) by vendor in accordance with per Technical Requirement Key Performance Indicator (TRKPI), Master Agreed Procedure (MAP), Project Operation Guidelines (POG), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Hospital Specific Implementation Plan (HSIP).
• Support Facility Head of Hygiene to perform on job training for LLS & user training for hospital staffs.
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Post Graduate Certificate / Diploma in Linen and Laundry Service
• At least 4 - 6 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Independent and adept at working in groups, with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
